Mark July 27th on your calendar – Vita and One Pot will be bringing together a great little panel of coffee minds to spend the evening in conversation with Alex and Martin Keller to discuss what it means to grow coffee in one of the most unstable regions in the world. In a country plagued by constant rebel fighting and political unrest these two brothers (and fourth generation coffee farmers) have risen above the chaos to create a small slice of sustainable brilliance. 40% of their farm is a thriving ecological reserve, bioswales have been built to treat the coffee production waters, and they have elevated composting to a rarified art form.
