One of the rarest and most remarkable coffees found in Central/South America, Pacamara is an Arabica hybrid of Pacas and Maragogype varietals developed in El Salvador during the 1950’s.

On our most recent Farm Direct journey to Guatemala, Caffe Vita was able to source roughly 1500 pounds of the total 7800 pounds of this very rare and extraordinary coffee produced by Finca Nuevo Vinas this season. Grown in high elevations, Pacamara yields less fruit on the coffee plant, yet the fruit produced is of exceptionally large size, resulting in an enormous bean abundant in flavor and complexity.

Rich aromas of caramel, citrus, nougat, hints of tobacco and subtle baking spice lead in to a medium bodied, moderately acidic cup. Well balanced flavors of cocoa powder, citrus, caramel and almond with sweet undertones of cigar box and baking spice. A clean, crisp aftertaste evaporates with traces of cocoa powder, citrus and tobacco in the finish.

We have a Very Limited Supply click here to buy online or you can also pick up a bag of this remarkable coffee at any of our 5 Caffe Vita Locations.
