NOTES FROM THE CUPPING TABLE

| December 2, 2009

Another great day at the CAFFE VITA cupping table! On the table today were some outstanding coffees from Indonesia, Central and South America. Of note, the Fair Trade/Organic Bolivia was clearly the stand out.

Sweet, fragrant aromas of maple, nougat, cocoa and caramel. Silky, medium bodied coffee with moderate acidity, well balanced flavors of cocoa, caramel creme brulee and a luscious finish with tapering notes of honey, citrus zest, cinnamon and all spice.

Join us at CAFFE VITA on Capitol Hill- 1005 E PIKE ST for our FREE coffee cupping- EVERY WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY @ 10 AM

Also, a friendly reminder for this FRIDAY, 12/4/09 @ CAFFE VITA-10 AM- where we will be hosting our friends from THEO Chocolate http://www.theochocolate.com/
We will be cupping coffees from Africa, Indonesia, Central and South America along side some world class Fair Trade/Organic chocolates from THEO.

The Steadfast Tin Soldier, A Story Ballet
Celebrates Thirteen Years Of Holiday Entertainment

Dance Fremont happily announces its thirteenth season of performing the tender Hans Christian Andersen tale of The Steadfast Tin Soldier, A Story Ballet. This production reflects the dreams and work of a number of Fremont artists and young students from Dance Fremont!

Colorful hand-tailored costumes, locally designed and hand-painted scenery, a cast of seventy young dancers, three special guest artists and twelve musicians all join together to present this charming holiday dance event. Dance Fremont’s co-director, Vivian Little choreographed the ballet and musical composer, lyricist and librettist, Kathleen Mills conducts The Steadfast Tin Soldier Ensemble. Signing in Exact English (S.E.E.) has been incorporated into the choreography to make this performance accessible for the hearing impaired.
