Caffe Vita Records will be following one of our bands while they are on tour.  We are proud to support Seattle’s underground music scene, and will be releasing an EP by He Whose Ox Is Gored, a local Seattle metal band, by early fall of this year.  We welcome you to join in on the fun by following our blog to see how these bands operate while on the road, and if you would like to check out Ox’s music, you can do so HERE!

MUSIC CULTURE FOOD WINE AUCTION!

| June 25, 2013

Once again, the Seattle Symphony Orchestra put together a great party, Club Ludo 2!  This event helps raise money for the Seattle Symphony’s  youth education and community programs.  Hosted at the beautiful Chihuly Boathouse on Lake Union, Caffe Vita and Via Tribunali were invited to serve our espresso and Neapolitan style pizza.

The night started with hors d’oeuvre and classical music with Ludovic Morlot, in an open room overlooking the lake, an amazing place to watch the sun set and the super moon rise.  As guests arrived for the nights festivities, they were greeted with our traditional wood-fire oven, and the tantalizing smell of good times to come.  Guests were welcomed in the garage where the glass artists work, the walls  lined with a spectrum of colored glass rods and meticulously designed chandelier pieces.  In addition to the eye candy, tables of delicious small bites from local Seattle restaurants were set up, the best way to start any party!  Walking from the garage into the boathouse, your eyes are drawn to the ceiling, what an amazing display of glass art lining the entire hall, guiding it’s guests into a large room with delicately hung glass, where the silent auction was held.  Local business donated some amazing items for the Seattle Symphony’s silent auction, including experiences with Pearl Jam, hand crafted accessories, one of a kind art, Espresso Training with Caffe Vita, a Pizza Party with the Via Tribunali oven, plus many more amazing opportunities to help support the Symphony’s work within the community.  What’s a party without live music, and Club Ludo was the place to be Saturday night with a line up including The Young Evils, Lukas Nelson, Chris Friel Orchestra and Mike McCready.  Thank you from Caffe Vita and Via Tribunali for inviting us to be part of this amazing night and inspiring us to dance until 2am to Scribes live performance, can’t wait for Club Ludo 2014!

You can get more information about Club Ludo and the Seattle Symphony on their website, and be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter!
