Celebrating its fifth annual Feast on the Farm, Stewardship Partners, Salmon-Safe and Oxbow Farm welcomed hundreds to their beautiful plantation in Carnation, Wa. last Thursday.

With hundreds of guests surviving the elements—as it rained all day before clearing up for a nice, cool evening—visitors were treated to a phenomenal dinner setting beneath tents, with locally-grown food prepared by some of Seattle’s top chefs.

The dinner included items such as fresh salad, wood-grilled chicken and a delightful dessert that most everyone enjoyed with Caffe Vita coffee, while listening to a private performance by Seattle-based musician Star Anna, who was later accompanied by Mike McCready of Pearl Jam.

Feast on the Farm also included a live auction, with guests bidding on things like sports and entertainment packages, weekend getaways and several personal experiences, like the opportunity to roast an individual label of Caffe Vita coffee.

Once the auction was complete, guests kept mingling amongst one another, sipping Vita coffee and posing for several photos with one another—as well as the majestic site of the farmland.

When all was said and done, the event raised nearly $75,000 for Stewardship Partners’ mission of supporting, educating and promoting awareness of local habitats that actively participate in environmental stewardship.

For those interested in getting involved with Stewardship Partners, more info can be seen on their website.
