Time is running out to claim your seat at the next Public Brewing School, Caffe Vita’s free class on all things coffee. We are excited to feature our latest import from Papua New Guinea, a cooperatively grown coffee by native farmers who’ve pledged their land to conservation. We’ll feature this exciting coffee alongside many others, and brew with a variety of tools and techniques. This one is being held in Capitol Hill, May 4th, 10:00 to noon. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place in this month’s installment of PBS!
Come down to the Caffe Vita Bean Room (1005 E. Pike Street, Seattle) on Saturday and Sunday for the Brackish Pop-Up Shop. Brackish is a local, sustainable furniture company that aims to inspire and respond to a demand for exceptional design, local production, and lasting quality. Essentially, this stuff is gorgeous. We are excited to partner with these talented designers and craftsmen.
Have the chance to see the first collection of furniture from Brackish as well as pieces from Whitcomb & Company. Also, come see the clothing, home goods and gifts from other local designers, brought to you by Glasswing. The Brackish Pop-Up Shop is open from 11AM to 10PM on Saturday and 11AM to 5PM on Sunday.
The Capitol Hill Ice Rink opens today! Now through December 24th from 11AM-10PM daily you can lace up your skates in Cal Anderson Park and celebrate the holidays with Caffe Vita. At 4:30 today there will be a special opening ceremony, including a visit from Mayor McGinn and songs from the Northwest School’s a capella choir.
While the ice may be borrowed, the festivities are all local, with hot dogs from Dante’s, neighborhood sponsors like the Elliott Bay Book Company, and of course, Caffe Vita.
Not only will we be selling hot cocoa, cider, coffee, tea, and kombucha every day at the rink, you can also pick up sweet treats, whole beans and hats! After snapping up some Vita merch drop by the ice rink’s complimentary gift wrapping table and spread the love. Or, you know, keep them for yourself. It’s cold out there!
Tickets are available for cash purchase at the rink or you can buy them at our Capitol Hill cafe ($12 for adults, $6 for kids, including skates).
For more information, go here or just head over to Cal Anderson! We hope to see you there.
