It’s one of the best weeks of the entire year—and we’re not hesitant in admitting that.
With the U.S. men’s soccer team set to play against Belgium in the World Cup today, the Seattle weather being mid-80s and sunny and the Fourth of July just a few days away, it sure is starting to feel like summer, isn’t it?
And because us folks here at Vita really enjoy doing an abundance of different things—both inside and outside—here are a few things that we’re diggin’ on this week.
Nick Wilton, Sales Representative: “I’m diggin’ on that big Caffe Vita win in the Bacon Relay at Sunday’s Eat, Run, Hope event.”
Seny Knyazev, Manager, Lower East Side: “Gair and I are diggin’ on making progress on the new roasting facility in Bushwick in New York City!”
Sarah Lane, Marketing Intern: “I’m really diggin’ getting out of my Accounting class at noon today! Then getting a good workout in at the Seattle Boxing Gym afterwards!”
Mike McConnell, Owner: “I’m diggin’ on Alicia Amiri’s music.”
Reese Umbaugh, Manager, Capitol Hill: “I’m diggin’ Guatemala FNV cold brew, which we have on tap at the Capitol Hill cafe!”
Nick Dimengo, Content Creator: “I’m diggin’ my annual Fourth of July trip to Nashville to spend time with family and friends—but not looking forward to coming back looking like a burnt lobster.”
Sarah Ilgenfritz, HR Coordinator: “I’m obviously diggin’ the USA game today and that German coach, Jogi Low, is still human.”
Pearl Nelson, Sales Representative: “I’m diggin’ a cool new band, The Hollers. They just released a self-titled EP and got a nice review in City Arts online.”
Rick Friel, Grocery Field Representative: “I’m diggin’ working with so many wonderful people right here at Vita, a cold Toddy on today’s summer day and meeting and getting my picture taken with my favorite band, KISS, last Sunday! I can’t believe it!”
Erik Walters, Manager, Pioneer Square: “I’m diggin’ the Artwalk this week, which means big crowds at the cafe. I’m also excited that my project, Silver Torches, is supporting an awesome band from the Bay Area called Geographer at The Crocodile on Friday night, which is also the Fourth of July, and coincidentally, my grandmother’s birthday. She’s 82!”
Skyler Locatelli, Sales Representative: “I’m diggin’ on summertime in Seattle! Events, concerts, vacation, family and friends!”
