This plus strong indigenous ties to the land have perhaps led to the cultivation of such extraordinary coffee.  
 
Grown within and around the Umalila Mountain Range of the Mbeya Region, Strange Magic is the accumulated yield of 6 different villages. Local production has increased significantly since the establishment of a cooperative model, servicing the area. Farmers bring their cherries to a processing center where they are fermented, washed, and dried before heading to market.
