What shipping methods are used for my subscription? Can I choose which method is used?
We partner with Shopify-approved carriers USPS and UPS for domestic shipping. Customers can buy expedited shipping for one-time orders. Recurring orders within the U.S. are automatically assigned free Ground Advantage shipping with USPS and are unable to be expedited.

Where is my order?
If you have an account in our online store, you can view your order history by logging in here. Once your order ships, your tracking number will be available within your account. If you checked out as a guest, you can track your order once it has shipped. In both cases, a shipping notification with your tracking number will be sent to the email address provided at checkout once your order has shipped.

My order arrived damaged; what should I do?
Please contact shop@caffevita.com with your order number and a photo of the damage for assistance.

My order has no tracking updates. Is it lost?
Probably not! If you do not see any tracking details, that means the carrier hasn't scanned the package. Tracking details are commonly updated closer to the delivery date, so hang tight. When shipping within the United States, the approximate delivery window is 1-6 days. If your order has not updated after 5 days, please reach out to shop@caffevita.com for assistance.

How do I get free shipping?
Caffe Vita offers free US standard shipping on all recurring orders and any one-time orders with a subtotal of $50 or more - no code required. For recurring orders, your free shipping class is automatically applied.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major U.S. credit cards, Shop Pay, Paypal, and Apple Pay.

Do you ship internationally?
We only allow international shipping to Japan and Canada. Caffe Vita does not collect international taxes or duties. If issues arise with your international shipment, please contact shop@caffevita.com.

Do you ship to U.S. military addresses?
Yes. While you can select between USPS and UPS for service to APO's and U.S. military addresses at checkout, we recommend choosing USPS to avoid any complications with your delivery.

How do I cancel my order?
Please contact us at shop@caffevita.com for assistance with cancelling your order. Please contact us as soon as possible, as we cannot cancel or refund orders once they have shipped.

My order was marked as delivered but I never received it. What do I do now?
Mistakes can happen with shipping carriers. If you have not received your package 24 hours after it is marked as delivered, please reach out to shop@caffevita.com for assistance.

Can I return coffee?
No. Food items, including coffee, cannot be returned.

Do I need to pay for a return label?
No. Return labels are covered by Caffe Vita.

Does Caffe Vita offer store credit for returns?
No. Caffe Vita does not offer store credit.

Can I get a refund?
Sometimes. Refunds are approved on a case-by-case basis. Consult our return policy or reach out to shop@caffevita.com with your refund request.


Why should I subscribe?
Subscription customers enjoy free shipping on all recurring orders and get early access to sales and discounts. Early access and exclusive sales are accessible via our email list.

Which products are available for subscription?
Coffees and cold brews are available to purchase with a recurring order. To order teas, brewing equipment, or merchandise, you must place a separate one-time order.

How often can I receive subscription shipments?
Order frequencies for recurring orders are set by the customer at check out in customizable increments of days, weeks, months, and years.

How do I edit my subscription?
You can edit your recurring orders by accessing your account on our website here. If you need your activation email resent, please contact shop@caffevita.com.

Can I skip an order in my subscription?
Yes. Within your customer account you can choose to either skip an order or pause the subscription altogether. For further assistance with this, please contact shop@caffevita.com.

Can I add an item just one-time to a subscription order?
Yes! Click "add item" from within your profile and then select "one-time."

Can Vita Rewards points be used on subscriptions?
Yes, customers can now use Vita Rewards points on future fulfillments in their subscription from within their Vita account.

My next order isn't the same price as when I started the subscription. Why?
We offer 25% off the first order in a subscription. All orders after this are regularly priced unless otherwise specified.

What does "Subscribe with Smart Scale" mean?
We are now partnered with Bottomless who will supply you with a smart scale. This device determines when to order you more coffee based on the weight of your current bag. No need to set or manage frequencies with this subscription - every recurring order is timed to your schedule automatically.

Do I have to pay for the Smart Scale?
No! The device is completely free and is shipped separately at the beginning of a "by usage" subscription.

Am I responsible for returning the Smart Scale if I cancel?
While you are not required to return your device to Bottomless, you are welcome and encouraged to do so.

How long does the Smart Scale last?
About 1 year. To replace your device, contact Bottomless here.

Do you have light, medium, or dark roast coffees?
Caffe Vita has it all! All our coffee offerings have a roast level indicator on our website. Most of our coffees will also include the roast level on the label itself. Head to www.caffevita.com/pages/coffee to learn more.

Are all Caffe Vita coffees organic?
While we do have some organic options, not every coffee is certified organic. Caffe Vita is proud of our partnerships with small farms and co-ops who often cannot afford the high costs associated with the organic certification process.

Can I get the coffee on my order pre-ground?
For individual 12oz and 5lb bags, you can select the grind size to match your preferred brewing method on the item's product page. Trios and bundles, however, are sold exclusively as whole bean unless otherwise specified.

How long does Caffe Vita stay fresh? When was my coffee roasted?
Our production facilities fulfill orders as they come in, so your coffee will always be freshly roasted that week. If you store your coffee in a cool, dry place out of sunlight, the integrity of your coffee will last for 6 months.

I can't find my favorite coffee. Where did it go?
Most of our single origin coffees are seasonally limited, so those are frequently rotated in and out of stock. Our staple collection of blends should be available year-round, however, supply chain disruptions can impact availability of our offerings. If you're not seeing your desired coffee, please send your inquiry to shop@caffevita.com.

Are any of your coffees flavored?
No. We do not add any flavorings, such as vanilla, to our coffees during or after the roasting process. Flavors listed on our labels are indicative of the coffee's natural tasting notes. Any desired syrups, spices, or flavorings will need to be added after you brew.

Is Caffe Vita coffee vegan and/or gluten-free?
Yes. All of our coffees are vegan and gluten-free.

Are any of the coffees Kosher certified?
Yes. All of our coffees are certified Kosher with the exception of our cold brew cans.

Is Caffe Vita coffee Arabica or Robusta?
Every coffee we offer is Arabica and hand-selected by our Coffee Director and U.S. Barista Champion, Sam Spillman.

Do you offer burlap bags to the public?
With roasteries in Seattle and Brooklyn we go through many burlap bags. We offer these bags for free to our customers on a first-come, first-served basis. Stop by one of our roasteries to see if any are available for pick up!

I want Caffe Vita to donate to my organization or event. Who can I talk to about this?
We alway strive to give back to the wonderful communities that Vita calls home. If you're interested in a donation to your fundraiser, auction, or community event, please reach out to info@caffevita.com with as many details as possible. Donations are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Does Caffe Vita offer catering?
While we do not offer staffed catering or coffee service, we have been spotted at music festivals from time to time. If you're interested in having Vita as a vendor at your event, please contact info@caffevita.com. Vending at events is determined on a case-by-case basis.
